Abstract

Pelancongan perubatan di Malaysia telah mendapat pengiktirafan global yang pantas, didorong oleh standard tinggi perkhidmatan penjagaan kesihatan serta kos yang berpatutan. Salah satu aspek unik dalam pertumbuhan ini adalah peningkatan permintaan terhadap perkhidmatan penjagaan kesihatan mesra Muslim, yang memenuhi keperluan agama dan budaya pesakit Muslim. Kajian konseptual ini bertujuan untuk meneliti amalan semasa Hospital Mesra Muslim di Malaysia, dengan fokus kepada Hospital Mesra Ibadah (HMI) dan Hospital Patuh Shariah (HPS). Kajian ini mengenal pasti keperluan khusus pesakit Muslim, menilai bagaimana hospital di Malaysia dapat memenuhi keperluan tersebut, serta membincangkan manfaat penyediaan perkhidmatan mesra Muslim sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing negara dalam sektor pelancongan perubatan.
