Analisis Keperluan Pembangunan Bahan Bacaan dengan Tahap Kebolehbacaan Murid B40 Sekolah Rendah
Abstract
Analisis keperluan ini bertujuan mengenal pasti keperluan pembangunan bahan bacaan dengan indeks kebolehbacaan yang sesuai dengan tahap Murid B40 Sekolah Rendah. Bahan bacaan dengan indeks kebolehbacaan yang sesuai penting bagi memastikan murid memahami kandungan teks secara menyeluruh. Kajian ini mengadaptasi pendekatan Design and Development Research (DDR) menerusi kaedah penyelidikan kualitatif. Lima orang pakar dipilih secara pensampelan bertujuan dan ditemu bual menggunakan pendekatan temu bual separa berstruktur. Dapatan temu bual dianalisis secara tematik berbantukan perisian ATLAS.ti 24. Dapatan menunjukkan terdapat kekurangan bahan bacaan dengan tahap kebolehbacaan yang sesuai, wujud ketidakseimbangan akses dan jurang pemilikan bahan bacaan antara murid B40 dan bukan B40. Dapatan ini turut memperlihatkan keperluan pembangunan bahan bacaan mengambil kira aspek kebolehbacaan yang meliputi tahap kebolehbacaan, ilustrasi, legibiliti, kosa kata dan struktur ayat. Pembangunan bahan bacaan dengan tahap kebolehbacaan yang sesuai dengan murid B40 ini diharap dapat memberi manfaat dalam menyokong proses pembelajaran membaca dan membantu perkembangan literasi mereka. Implikasinya, kajian ini membuka ruang kepada pihak berkepentingan untuk membangunkan bahan bacaan dengan tahap kebolehbacaan yang sesuai kepada pembaca sasaran khususnya murid sekolah rendah dalam golongan sosioekonomi B40.
