Kesukaran Membuat Keputusan dan Perspektif Masa serta Hubungannya dengan Ketidakpastian Kerjaya
Abstract
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk melihat tahap kesukaran membuat keputusan, jenis perspektif masa yang dominan dan tahap ketidakpastian kerjaya dalam kalangan siswazah di Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) di daerah Hulu Langat. Kesukaran membuat keputusan, perspektif masa dan ketidakpastian kerjaya berkait rapat dengan cabaran untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan dalam dunia pekerjaan. Dalam kajian ini, reka bentuk kajian tinjauan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif telah digunakan dan seramai 150 siswazah di Fakulti Pendidikan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor telah mengambil bahagian. Data dikumpul melalui borang soal selidik (Google Form) yang terdiri daripada empat bahagian, iaitu bahagian A: Maklumat Demografi, bahagian B: Tahap Kesukaran Membuat Keputusan, bahagian C: Jenis Perspektif Masa yang Dominan dan bahagian D: Tahap Ketidakpastian Kerjaya dalam Kalangan Siswazah di Fakulti Pendidikan UKM yang diedarkan melalui aplikasi WhatsApp. Siswazah diberi tempoh selama sebulan untuk menjawab soal selidik. Data dianalisis menggunakan perisian IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 27.0. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kesukaran membuat keputusan dalam kalangan siswazah berada pada tahap sederhana rendah (min = 2.84), jenis perspektif masa yang dominan dalam kalangan siswazah ialah perspektif masa hadapan (min =3.39) dan tahap ketidakpastian kerjaya berada pada tahap sederhana rendah (min =2.97). Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman Rho menunjukkan terdapat hubungan linear yang positif yang kuat antara kesukaran membuat keputusan dan ketidakpastian kerjaya (r = 0.735, p < 0.001). Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa apabila siswazah mempunyai kesukaran membuat keputusan, ketidakpastian kerjaya juga meningkatPelaksanaan kajian ini diharapkan dapat membantu institut pengajian tinggi, pihak kementerian dan kaunselor dalam mengenal pasti kesukaran membuat keputusan, perspektif masa dan ketidakpastian kerjaya.
