Pengintegrasian Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Global Melalui Projek Kebun Herba Mini di Sekolah Rendah Pendidikan Khas
Abstract
Usaha memperkukuh pendidikan yang berorientasikan kelestarian dan tanggungjawab sosial semakin diberi perhatian dalam sistem pendidikan kontemporari, termasuk dalam konteks pendidikan khas. Dalam hal ini, pendekatan pembelajaran yang bersifat konkrit dan berasaskan pengalaman dilihat berpotensi menyokong penerapan nilai kewarganegaraan global secara lebih inklusif. Kajian ini menilai keberkesanan pengintegrasian Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Global (GCED) melalui projek kebun herba mini dalam konteks Sekolah Rendah Pendidikan Khas. Projek ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berasaskan projek yang distrukturkan melalui Engineering Design Process (EDP), melibatkan lima fasa utama: Tanya, Sumbang Saran, Cipta, Uji dan Penambahbaikan, serta Komunikasi. Reka bentuk kajian menggunakan kaedah campuran melibatkan enam orang murid pendidikan khas bermasalah pembelajaran. Data dikumpul melalui soal selidik pra dan pasca, temu bual separa berstruktur serta pemerhatian guru. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan peningkatan ketara dalam domain kognitif, khususnya kefahaman konsep fotosintesis, kitar semula dan penjagaan tanaman. Selain itu, murid turut menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam sikap terhadap kelestarian alam sekitar serta peningkatan kemahiran sosial dan kendiri. Implikasi kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa pendekatan pembelajaran berasaskan projek melalui kebun herba mini berpotensi menjadi strategi pedagogi yang berkesan dalam pendidikan khas bagi menyokong penerapan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Global secara inklusif, selaras dengan aspirasi Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan khususnya SDG 4.7 dan SDG 12.5.
