Gerakan Boikot Produk Israel Sebagai Manifestasi Solidariti Sosial dalam Masyarakat Muslim Kontemporari

Abstract

Gerakan boikot terhadap produk Israel semakin berkembang sebagai bentuk tindakan sosial dalam kalangan masyarakat Muslim, khususnya susulan konflik Gaza yang mendapat perhatian meluas melalui media digital. Kebanyakan kajian terdahulu lebih menumpukan aspek tingkah laku pengguna, motivasi agama dan konsumerisme politik secara berasingan, manakala dimensi solidariti sosial masih kurang dibahaskan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis gerakan boikot produk Israel sebagai manifestasi solidariti sosial melalui kerangka teori solidariti Émile Durkheim, khususnya solidariti mekanikal dan solidariti organik. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbentuk analisis konseptual dan sorotan literatur terhadap kajian berkaitan boikot, agama, media sosial dan konsumerisme politik dalam konteks masyarakat Muslim di Malaysia. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahawa gerakan boikot tidak boleh dijelaskan hanya melalui satu bentuk solidariti semata-mata. Ia harus memperlihatkan gabungan antara solidariti mekanikal yang berasaskan nilai agama, identiti ummah dan emosi kemanusiaan dengan solidariti organik yang dipengaruhi pertimbangan rasional, identiti sosial, budaya pengguna dan jaringan media digital. Apa yang dapat dirumuskan, gerakan boikot dalam masyarakat Muslim kontemporari lebih tepat difahami sebagai bentuk solidariti hibrid yang mempertemukan dimensi moral-keagamaan dan rasionaliti pengguna moden dalam masyarakat digital. Oleh kerana itu, teori solidariti oleh Durkheim masih relevan dalam memahami tindakan sosial kontemporari, namun bentuk solidariti dalam masyarakat moden tidak lagi bersifat terpisah secara mutlak antara mekanikal dan organik, sebaliknya saling bersilang dalam membentuk tindakan kolektif terhadap isu kemanusiaan global.
