Mapping the Intellectual Structure of Entrepreneurship Education and Student Entrepreneurial Intentions: A Scientometric Analysis
Abstract
This study conducts a scientometric analysis of research on entrepreneurship education and student entrepreneurial intentions based on 1,605 Scopus-indexed publications from 1997 to 2025. Using BiblioMagika, the study identifies influential authors (e.g., Liñán, Duong), key journals (Frontiers in Psychology, Sustainability), and dominant themes such as “entrepreneurial intention,” “self-efficacy,” and the “theory of planned behaviour.” The field has experienced rapid growth since 2015, with emerging topics including sustainability, digital entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural studies. Findings offer insights into the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and future directions of this research domain.
