Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan Ekosistem Halal dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing Industri Halal Malaysia
Abstract
Pelan Induk Industri Halal 2030 melaporkan pasaran global dan domestik produk halal menunjukkan trend positif di antara tahun 2018 hingga 2030. Perkembangan positif ini akan merancakkan pembangunan ekosistem halal di Malaysia yang selanjutnya akan mewujudkan peluang pelaburan, perdagangan, dan pekerjaan dalam industri halal. Oleh itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk melihat sejauh mana penyelidikan dan pembangunan ekosistem halal dapat meningkatkan daya saing industri Halal Malaysia. Temu bual dengan pihak yang bertanggungjawab daripada Bahagian Hab Halal JAKIM dan Perbadanan Pembangunan Industri Halal (HDC) dijalankan bagi mendapatkan penjelasan berhubung isu ini. Hasil kajian mendapati Bahagian Hab Halal JAKIM telah membuat kolaborasi penyelidikan dan pembangunan ekosistem halal dengan pihak universiti dan organisasi swasta yang dapat meningkatkan kualiti pensijilan halal. Bahagian Hab Halal JAKIM juga telah membina makmal analisis yang dapat menjalankan penyelidikan dan pembangunan ekosistem halal. Manakala, HDC memainkan peranan dengan menganjurkan seminar iaitu World Halal Research bagi meningkatkan kerjasama penyelidikan dan pembangunan ekosistem halal dengan pelbagai pemain industri halal. Penyelidikan dan pembangunan ekosistem halal yang telah diusahakan oleh kedua-dua organisasi ini dapat membantu meningkatkan daya saing industri Halal Malaysia.
