Persepsi Guru Pendidikan Khas Mengenai Isu Kesihatan Mental Sepanjang Tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan

Abstract

Kesihatan mental merangkumi kesejahteraan emosi, psikologi dan sosial seseorang. Walau bagaimanapun, seseorang boleh mengalami masalah kesihatan mental seperti guru pendidikan khas. Justeru itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk meninjau kesihatan mental guru pendidikan khas di Kunak, Sabah. Dalam kajian ini, pengkaji ingin mengkaji tiga objektif utama iaitu mengukur tahap kesihatan mental guru pendidikan khas, mengenal pasti faktor penyumbang kepada masalah kesihatan mental dalam kalangan guru pendidikan khas serta langkah untuk mengurangkan masalah kesihatan mental dalam kalangan guru pendidikan khas sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP). Data kajian ini diperoleh melalui edaran soal selidik kepada 30 orang guru pendidikan khas di Kunak dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif iaitu kekerapan, peratus, min dan sisihan piawai. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kesihatan mental guru pendidikan khas dalam keadaan yang baik. Selain itu, dapatan kajian ini juga menunjukkan faktor penyumbang masalah kesihatan mental dan langkah untuk mengurangkan masalah kesihatan mental dalam kalangan guru pendidikan khas sepanjang tempoh PKP. Oleh itu, kajian yang dijalankan ini dapat memberi implikasi kepada pelbagai pihak bagi mengetahui kesihatan mental dalam kalangan guru pendidikan khas.
