Persepsi Kebimbangan dan Efikasi Kendiri Murid Sekolah Rendah dalam Pembelajaran Matematik

Abstract

Kebimbangan dan efikasi kendiri adalah faktor yang mempengaruhi minat dan sikap murid dalam pembelajaran subjek Matematik. Kebimbangan yang minimum dan efikasi kendiri yang maksimum terhadap subjek Matematik dapat merangsang kognitif murid untuk membina kemahiran berfikir secara kreatif dan kritis. Oleh itu, tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan bagaimana murid darjah lima merasakan kebimbangan dan efikasi kendiri serta melihat bagaimana persepsi mereka berbeza berdasarkan jantina. Kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk menentukan kekuatan perkaitan antara dua pemboleh ubah. Dengan menggunakan teknik persampelan rawak mudah, 314 murd tahun lima dari lima buah sekolah di daerah Shah Alam, Selangor telah dipilih sebagai responden. Kajian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dan menggunakan reka bentuk tinjauan melalui soal selidik untuk mengumpul data. Data daripada penyelidikan dianalisis menggunakan perisian Statistical Package of Social Science 27 (SPSS). Data yang diperoleh dinilai menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan juga statistik inferensi, seperti ujian-t dan ujian Korelasi Pearson. Mengikut dapatan kajian, murid mempunyai tahap kebimbangan yang ketara dan mempunyai keyakinan yang sederhana. Kajian ini juga mendapati bahawa min kebimbangan dan skor efikasi kendiri tidak berbeza secara signifikan mengikut jantina. Keputusan ujian korelasi menunjukkan bahawa kebimbangan dan efikasi kendiri murid tahun lima terhadap penguasaan topik matematik mempunyai hubungan negatif yang kuat (r = -0.537) dan signifikan secara statistik. Secara keseluruhannya, kajian ini mendapati semakin tinggi kebimbangan murid, semakin rendah efikasi kendiri murid terhadap pembelajaran subjek Matematik.
