Abstract

Isu alam sekitar merupakan fenomena dunia yang semakin mendapat perhatian. Terdapat pelbagai kajian berkenaan alam sekitar atau kelestarian alam sekitar. Namun, kajian tentang pemikiran kelestarian dan amalan kelestarian alam sekitar masih memerlukan perhatian dan kajian lanjutan. Kajian ini berfokus kepada kajian pemikiran kelestarian dan amalan kelestarian alam sekitar yang lepas. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif melalui analisis dokumen yang dihuraikan secara deskriptif secara analisis tinjauan literatur yang sistematik melalui carian pangkalan Scopus dan Education Resource Information Center (ERIC). Artikel kajian dipilih mengikut kriteria pemilihan iaitu dalam tempoh 5 tahun bermula dari tahun 2020 sehingga 2025. Proses pemilihan artikel adalah berasaskan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Tema-tema yang ditentukan dalam kajian ini adalah seperti Pendidikan Alam Sekitar, ekopelancongan, pemuliharaan marin, pencemaran plastik, pemulihan bandar, perubahan iklim serta pengetahuan dan tingkah laku pro alam sekitar dalam kalangan masyarakat. Dapatan kajian telah mengenal pasti 19 artikel yang menepati kriteria pemilihan. Dapatan kajian mendapati pemikiran kelestarian melalui intervensi kepelbagaian kaedah pembelajaran Pendidikan Alam Sekitar akan menyumbang kepada amalan kelestarian alam sekitar dengan berkesan dalam jangka masa lama. Pendidikan Alam Sekitar dapat memupuk pemikiran kelestarian dan amalan kelestarian alam sekitar dengan baik tidak akan terbatas dalam bilik darjah sahaja. Pendidikan Alam Sekitar juga tidak sepatutnya terhad kepada zaman persekolahan atau kepada masyarakat yang masih meneruskan pengajian tetapi juga diterapkan di mana-mana seperti di tempat kerja dan tempat awam dengan berkonsepkan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Kajian ini perlu diperkembangkan untuk menentukan isu bau berkenaan pemikiran kelestarian dan amalan kelestarian alam sekitar.
