Hubungan antara Keterlibatan dalam Permainan PUBG Mobile dengan Tingkah Laku Impulsif dalam kalangan Remaja

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti fenomena keterlibatan remaja dalam permainan PUBG Mobile dengan mengenal pasti kekerapan dan masa bermain, pengalaman dan pencapaian dalam permainan. Hubungan antara keterlibatan dalam permainan dengan tingkah laku impulsif turut diteliti dalam kalangan remaja di Malaysia. Kajian juga mengenal pasti kesan penyederhanaan moderator seperti umur, kekerapan bermain, masa bermain, pengalaman, dan pencapaian dalam permainan. Seramai 181 responden remaja terlibat dalam kajian ini dengan menjawab soal selidik dalam talian yang mengandungi instrumen diadaptasi daripada Game Experience Questionnaire (GEQ) dan UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior Scale. Analisis korelasi Spearman menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan yang sederhana kuat (r = 0.622, p < 0.05) antara keterlibatan dalam permainan dengan tingkah laku impulsif. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahawa kekerapan bermain dan masa bermain mengukuhkan hubungan tersebut, manakala umur berfungsi sebagai moderator negatif yang melemahkan hubungan dengan peningkatan usia. Faktor pengalaman tidak menunjukkan kesan signifikan manakala pencapaian menunjukkan potensi kesan marginal. Dapatan ini menyumbang kepada pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai implikasi keterlibatan permainan digital terhadap tingkah laku remaja dan memberi asas empirikal untuk pembangunan program intervensi yang lebih bersasar.
