Abstract

The increasing digitalization of property management systems is transforming the industry by replacing traditional, manual processes with integrated, tech-enabled solutions such as AI, IoT, and data analytics. However, despite the increasing digitalization of property management systems, the recovery and administration of luqatah (lost and found) property remains largely manual, fragmented, and inefficient in many contexts. This study aims to review the prospects of integrating artificial intelligence for the effective management of luqatah property. This study employed a review analysis methodology to examine the prospects of artificial intelligence integration for the effective management of luqatah property. This review analysis revealed several prospects of artificial intelligence integration for effective management of luqatah property, namely: (a) enhanced efficiency in property identification and verification; (b) increased transparency and traceability in luqatah management; (c) positive public perception and acceptance; and (d) identified challenges and ethical considerations. In conclusion, the integration of artificial intelligence holds significant promise for transforming the management of luqatah property by enhancing efficiency, traceability, and accountability in lost-and-found systems.
